have you ever tried practicising your tennis swing without a racquet? it wrenches your arm out of your socket. the weight and length of the racquet counterbalances this normally. also, i was reading today that the wrist straps are breaking from people swinging too hard and people are smashing their TV 's with their flying controller.
so broken shoulder plus broken tv = crap idea.
