well..... i just saw the movie 10 minutes ago
and i feel that there r lots of stuff missing so i was wondering if the book is worth to buy it

The changed a few things in the movie, mostly due to time restraints, but overall I thought it was a good adaptation. A complete list of differences between the book and film can be found here:

well, the problem is that you've already seen the movie. when reading the book, you will unconscienaly visualize characters and events from the movie, and it will block your imagination. No film is as good as the book is, because book lets you create your own world, and while watching the movie you look at someone else's vision. The book is excellent and makes you think about some things in life and history of jesus. The movie sucks. Forrest Gump resolves the oldest mistery in the world. Poor...

movie is based on the book..so the book has to be in detail..unless u are movie person and dont like reading long u can see the movie and finish off the quest in 3 hrs time with popcorns :)

Definitely read the book. The movie lacks the detail of the book. I guarentee once you pick it up you won't put it down. But if you see the movie after you might be dissappointed. I was.

the book and movie are similar in the story line but the book goes into better detail...The book is much better. I was not happy with the movie.

the book and te movie run as close together as they possibly can however dan brown and director ron howard decided so that the entire book would fit into the movie they cut some lesser parts out of the film. still it ran good loads loved it the church hated it but wat can they do.

Yes, you have to be able to read to get through the book.
