the best pilots are older. Less risk-taking tendencies.
At 23, you have many years ahead of you. MANY
So long as you are healthy you can still be a pilot and there are many private schools for learning. There are some schools for small planes and private licenses to fly and also some bigger schools that teach commercial airlines. Formerly the military was the main way to learn, but that is no longer true, although you are still young enough for that too. If you have college degree, think about the air force. If not, then get one. It takes 4 years and 27 is not too old either.

You're not too old-- yet. I would get moving quickly, though, if you plan on becoming a professional pilot. It takes many hours of training and flight to become a jet pilot; after around 30 years old, it's probably too late to start this process.
However, if you're just planning on becoming a pilot for the fun of it, then it doesn't matter as much-- but don't wait too long, or you'll never live! Good luck! :)

Not at all! At 23, you still have the vast majority of your life ahead of you. If you want to be a pilot, go for it. I'm 51, and I started training to be a pilot at about 42 :-) I don't have any interest in being an airline pilot, but wanted to learn to fly a light plane. Go for it!

Getting a pilots license is easy, well, bout six months easy round the max. So no, you are definetly not too young. Go to Alaska for the best training environment in the word. At Fairbanks there is one of the only two extreme simulators in the world, take the course!

Of course not! What you could do is start working in making your dream come ture, i.e. check out the requirements, options, ect. for becoming a pilot and go for it!
