A Christmas present for all my long suffering 'victims'. I have been seriously considering retiring the Romanis brand and start from scratch.
Having attained level 7, I don't see any point in continuing.
So should I retire and start anew with another identity? Moreover with my sudden increased workload, it does look that I would no longer have the time to offer my advise (whether asked or otherwise) on matters.
In my new identity, rest assured I will come here less.
Your views?
May the Peace of Christ be with You, for all who celebrate Christmas. And Let the Glory of God be feted throughout the world.
For those of other faiths, May the holiday season and New Year, be one of untold joy, good health and prosperity.

FINALLY - you've made a spelling mistake!
It should be advice not advise.
Praise Be, the man is human after all!!
Sorry, I had to point that out to you for all the times you have been a miserable old codger towards me!! Mind you, I'd always thought you were a twenty something, humourless, young man who had nothing to better to do than to make people feel inferior about themselves.
I don't know what's come over you but you have mellowed in the past couple of months and your answers are not as personally cutting as they used to be, it's a change for the better.
I would not have missed the old Romanis but I WILL miss the new and improved Romanis so in my opinion you should keep this identity.
Peace and Goodwill to you as well and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
By the way, could you do me a favour and answer this question?
I'm dying to know the answer!

1st off the point of Y! answers isnt to reach level 7 its to help other ppl with any questions they might have (whether they actually appreciate being helped, however, is another story) however many ppl (including me) have been using it for quite some time now as a way to socialize and just talk 2 other ppl. unfortunately tho some users arent as intelligent or mature as everyone else (im not going to point any fingers here but this includes many of the french and italian supporters) it would seem therefore that we need some more neutrally minded folks to "moderate" things so 2 speak, people like you romanis. i mean sure everyone would call u a boring old lecturer and all the other $h** they like to call you but at least it will keep them off each other somewat. of course theyll be flaming each other the rest of the time but at least it will keep us from descending into anarchy, u know? plus being old doesnt guarantee a thing, ive seen all the ppl over at the scottish forum theyre all like in their 60s. ud think guys like them wud hav some wisdom or something, but sadly they all fight like two year olds (including jock f aka.desiradate -just because ur witty doesnt mean ur not being immature) im not trying 2 flatter you or anything, but my point is that ppl like you who are actually mature and intelligent and not hotheaded are precious hard to find. no matter how much those losers make fun of you for being neutral, intelligent, and balanced in your views (and using the spellchecker) keep on getting up and coming back for more, its not their worthless opinions that matter anyhow, its yours. however should you be too busy to come here anymore i cant say anything else other than i will miss you very much and good luck keeping ahead of those deadlines. drop by whenever you get the chance tho, ur never too busy to say hi r u? oh and happy holidays ( the heat isnt getting to b too much for you i hope...)

Please don't go. Not every one considers themselves victims or long suffering in relation to your participation. I have really enjoyed learning from you, hearing your opinions on all types of players, teams and issues. Obviously work commitments must be your first priority but don't retire the "Romanis" brand. It's not about points or the level you have attained, it's about the value of your participation, which has been considerable. What ever you decide I wish you all the best Romanis, but I sincerely hope you reconsider. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and all other users. May you all be blessed and safe. I feel sad now!!

It is your decision! We'd love it if you stayed, because one fan is still one more fan and one more answerer, but do whatever you feel the need to do :)
Have a great holidays to you too, God Bless!

I actually enjoy your participation here very much. I don't find you annoying at all unlike Azzuri man and his many identities.
I think you should stay. But if you leave I'll be alright with it too.
