First it was a group that was half Democrat and half Republican. Liberals are a part of the Democratic party. I will grant the ones with the biggest mouths but still only a part of the party. They should start their own party as they are as far off base with Moderate Democrats as they are Republicans. Second other than wanting to try dialog with Iran and Syria (insert joke here) since Iran will not even talk to Russia who is their only real trade partner, or listen to the UN (no country in the world does). Basically most Democrats do not want to pull out of Iraq right away either. They understand he effect that would have on the region and the US. Most of their recommendations are good but they also spread the options out pretty wide.

President Bush has traditionally disregarded all suggestion given to him from exterior events, worldwide places and persons. He has as a replace chosen to take heed to his "inner voice", which interestingly is given to him by employing God and as a result overrides any human values. Bush has chosen a direction to "stay the direction" with the aid of 4 years of catastrophe in Iraq. This substitute into the path he initially chosen, he's infallible and as a result won't be able to alter direction. His modern-day indication having a clean Plan to deliver a surge of troops to Iraq is greater of the comparable. that's in basic terms a continuation of stay the direction yet on a much bigger scale which will bring about further American casualties. he's greater tyrant than President, and any suggestion that would not come from his own head or GOD are irrelevant.

A study group is just that. This group was all ex-politicians the like.
No military input or assessment not even any Iraqis. The findings of the group are nothing new and certainly does not carry any weight. There job is to report their findings to congress(that is who appointed them) and then it is up to congress to act or not.

I am not very impressed. Our state department and our military leaders have been investigating what is going on a lot longer and a lot more thoroughly than this commission. With out any Iraqis in this group I can not fathom how it could be very accurate or suited to find answers in Iraq.It is still the Iraqis country and I think congress thinks they can do with it as they do with ours but they can't.

James Baker is founder and Principal of Baker & Botts Law Firm, which has international offices in Saudi and Dubai. Prince 'whatever his name' of Saudi is a client of Baker & Botts, and was represented and successfully defended by Baker & Botts in a 3 trillion dollar lawsuit brought by survivors on 9/11 against the Saudi government. There is NO WAY that James Baker can be objective in his analysis of middle east. He will decide ALWAYS in favor of his clients!!

The Iraq Study Group was a complete waste of time, and in my opinion it's report is ' Un-American' at best, and treasonous at worst. NUKE DEM BASSIDS!!.....hahahahaha

Oh well I think the purpose of the group was to throw up a great big smokescreen, so Bush and Co, could do something shady while no one was paying attention.
Also a way for him to pretend like he takes other viewpoints into consideration.

Strange I see it as a slap in the face to the Presidents Policies..
More or less it says you have failed..Its not often that you hear conservatives these days challenging the commander and chief.!
I don't think Bush has any real options but to consider the advice!

It was a group to offer suggestions, why does the president have to take them as Gospel ? Asking to treat with Iran is Hogwash, the group should be laughed at.

We already know that Bush refuses to listen to half of the country, now he is going to prove that he won't listen to the other half either. With that said maybe we will get lucky and a Republican will start impeachment proceedings so we can get rid of the moron without it turning into a Dems vs Repubs fight.
