Now there is world wide concern at the corporal punishment and measures afoot for its total banning. It should be banned not only from the schools but in the homes, by the parents. Interestingly, till recently, even in America, bashing the wives was considered a accepted method of correcting them, by the male-heads. Many of the religions, support the system of bashing the wives and children. Personally, I hate the idea of bashing a child, whatsoever be the mischief, you seek to correct.

Punishment should not be based on whether the criminal is student or some one else. Punishment should purely be based on the crime and not on the status of the criminal, then only we can create an equal world in all respects.
