I am 38 weeks pregnant and really dont mind if i have a girl or a boy but just for a bit of fun let me know your old wivestales.

well they say that if you are having a boy you should be able to feel him move by the time you are three going on four months and they move like they are kick boxing
and if you are having a girl they move by 5 going to 6 months and they move more gently
i have a boy and one on the way and so far they both move at that time and man they moved like crazy
well good luck you are almost there i still need till March
hope its a healthy baby
BTW just let my mom see you and she will tell you she has never been wrong and even if some one tries to hide a pregnancy she seams to always know

ive been told if the heart beat sounds like a train its a boy if it sounds like a horse galloping its i girl i have two girls 1 is 2yrs the other is 8 months and i will tell you now its not all easy babys and children can really drive you to the point where you want to scream but they can also be the basis of fantastic memories.
my advice as the mother of two very forward girls is make sure you talk to them even the day they are born just have conversations with them it really helps them to learn.
also just make sure you have time for the baby it can be hard.
and my biggest bit of advice is never expect too much or even too little xx

Here is one get your wedding ring or a needle with a thread of cotton and lie down. Place the object above your tummy if it swings round and round a girl and if it swings back and fro it is a boy. Three girls worked each time for me.
Another one is needle and cotton rub it first along the side of your left hand little finger side then hang it over the palm again round and round for girl and swing for boy. Then keep doing it remembering to rub it along hand first then hang over this tells you how many children you will have and sex the needle will stop dead depending on how many children you will have swings three times girl for me and stops after that.

There's a website which combines loads of old wives tales. I've used it and both times got 70% chance of having girls--both times had girls.
But a friend now has her daughter sleeping in a blue nursery in blue jammies thanks to her ultrasounds being a bit off...

you can do a gender prediction test if you just type in your search ultrasounds and click on week by week pregnancy and it will bring a page up this has all sorts of information on. you will be able to do a quiz it easy and fun

I always heard carrying low and in your hips its a girl and carrying high and to the front its a boy.

I your belly is small and all in front and you don't lookm pregnant from behind, boy. If you're fat, you got ugly and are pretty much cranky...girl! I had a girl and was fat ugly and mean... Good luck and congrats!

I have 2 boys and 2 girls,my mum said boys give distinctive kicks and girls roll about.I reckon going off mine she was spot on .

i had all the ''boy '' signs,kicking,high big bump,craved salty- is supposed to be another male sign-apparantly,and i had 2 girls.
all good fun though.....
