Have you been to the Randburg Waterfront? They have redone it and made it very beautiful! There are many things to do there as well such as restaurants, shops, entertainment such as laser shooting, adventure golf, movies, and they are constantly improving the place! You should check it out! :)

The randburg waterfront is always good or seeing that it's close to melville you can always go there! I dont know the randburg night life that well!
I only know the lollie pop lounge... lol!! Think it's in Bond ave!

OK, I don't stay there so I don't know the area too well, but what I can suggest, if you go to the Waterfront (I see the guys are suggesting it) do yourself a favour, go to Scrooges!!!!
It is a restaurant, but they've got awesome food. Try their prawns, R90-00 for 1kg prawns, I promise you, it is worth the money.
They put a small dustbin on the table (don't worry it is clean), for all the shell!!! Oh it is sooooo nice. I think I should go there tonight!
