ERMMM!
i have more respect for liverpool(yuck) fans than chelski. at least your club is steeped in tradition, with liverpudlians playing for you.

I've followed Chelsea since the old days when they were in the old Div.2 back in 87. I was a kid & got dog's abuse - everyone else was Liverpool or Arsenal or Utd. Grant you there's a lot of new faces at the Bridge these days. But that's progress i guess. There will always be a bandwagon to hop onto. If Liverpool get taken over , it's gonna be their turn.

first of all there is a mistake in the question these people are not actually 'fans' just a group of fools who know nothing about the game and think they somehow rule the football world by winning the premiership a measly TWICE!!!! Chelski is a team of bandwagon jumping hypocritical cheating money hungry fat cats. PS i wonder what language they speak in the dressing room? could be Russian, Portuguese, German, french, dutch, Norwegian etc, etc, but it definitely wont be English!

I think most new chelsea fans are either Fulham, QPR or Reading but as the bridge is rarely full when chelsea play at home, most of these fans are drifting back to their to their original clubs. Its strange now Reading are in the prem and playing well the chelsea attendances have gone down, coincidence? I think not. Plus the fact that I'd rather pay to see Reading play than watch chelsea's overpaid foreign legion of aging has beens play ie B*ll*ck, Shevchenko etc

giggsy your being a little unfair son let me tell you a story.
MANY years ago a young lad i knew was man united crazy (a bit like myself) he had never been been to see them play and begged me to take him to a match. i think it was late 70s i took him anyway i think we won 2 v 4 i think i cant remember?? anyway he was thrilled over the years we lost contact and approx two years ago we had a chance meeting his house was a shrine to wolve's and i sat there listening to his wife saying how he must be there best ever fan and he;s been one since he was a kid. he was not very happy when i reminded him of the day he went supporting the other side lol.
slight change of subject i've know many leeds liverpool and man utd fans that turned to there more local sides as they got older. i also know many who still support the teams still now (like me) i am no glory hunter and i would never call the lads who still go to the leeds matches one either. so we have to wait and see if these chelsea fans are still around in 10 years time before i would call them glory hunters.

as you know yourself uniteds glory years came in the 90s i have been a fan since i discovered football in 1972.

I'm not a Chavski fan but a young LFC fan( i state this because just now people start telling me i chase trophies too) , but i can give the History of Chavski better than most "Chelsea Fans". Do they know who Dennis Wise is, Gianfranco Zola? nope, bunch of money chasing supporters them lot. Money cant buy you 5stars Maureen-ho. LFC you'll never walk alone. Hey dude thanks for this question i really needed to venge some anger on wanabe supporters...

I know somebody who's been supporting Chelsea for 4 years and he told me that before then he knew nothing about football, now, he does. I think it's because of the russian.
