Why are you asking this? There's nothing wrong with Americans, you're putting too much emphasis on it and trying to get a reaction. Why don't you just ask 'Do you love or loathe British culture' and give them a chance to have a pop at us.
Leave them alone.

I loathe the "have a nice day" insincerity which pervades American culture. All the hugging, "yay" nonsense, the whole lot. It's not as if they actually DO want you to have a nice day, is it.

I do love it, so does my husband and he is an Aussie. The whole "thing" about America is, you "check" your culture at the door, you are American, a big melting pot of all ethnicities. It rocks!!!

It takes all sorts I guess. I just wish that my fellow Aussies weren't in such a rush to emulate them. We don't have a 'culture' as such either, but I’d hope we could at least remain true to our heritage. Oh sorry, in answer to the actual question, hmm.... don't actually care
