I'm not sure its a good or a bad dream. But I'm sure your partner would be there 4 u when there is a problem that u would be facing in real life.
"right was open fields to my left was a forest"- u would be making a choice.
"attacked by a babbon then a vulture landed on my back and started eating my shoulder we couldn't get it of"-2 bad persons
1 of them would go away while the other stays with u.
Hope this helps.

I had a similar dream involving a bear, the open fields are the freedom you are craving , the forest is the lack of certainty in your life, it seems you need an escape route, have you had a challenging experience recently?? The baboon represents something that has come out of the blue and took you by surprise, the vulture represents the problem has been niggling away at you for sometime unconsciously and needs to be dealt with. The fact that your partner was with you and tried to help may represent that you need to let them in on your problem and they will then be able to support you, their appearance as someone coming to your aid means that you trust them and can rely on them to help pull you through. Firstly though, you need to know what the issue is and then decide how to confront it. The pain in your shoulder is a result of sleeping funny

Open fields = social life
Partner = support
Forest = people you may not want to get involved
Being attacked by a baboon, vulture = being criticism
Shoulder being eaten = low self esteem, lose confidence.

You are having some issue in social life. Probably about communication. For some reason, you don't get along with people. Projecting being attacked and eaten is showing you that you are giving up in trying to be part of the social life. Perhaps you are shy in some way. You are also seeking support now. This is coming out from your subconscious mind

You seem to be torn between choices like a creature of prey. The open fields being the care-free side of your nature, but not without danger. And the forest being a place to hide, but full of fears danger and mystery.
The ape representing primitive confrontation from others you consider less superior, and the vulture representing the afterlife as another thing to fear. It could be your interpretation of your life as you see it now. But dreams change with life, so it's not a permanent view you have.

OK Carol this answer may be rubbish but I'm going to have a go.

The Fields may stand for what you can see, and the forest may stand for the hidden. The Baboon could have represented the hidden dangers in the forest and the Vulture the obvious dangers of the open fields.
This dream may be you worrying about your lack of control over circumstances and fear that no one can help you.

Life can be scary but its not all baboons and vultures. Don't be frightened.

I'm a christian and try to confess my fears and worries to Jesus.

If you believe in dream interpreting,
I think that something bad might happen. The dream is so negative.
The forest and the open fields are probably positive places or things.
A baboon is not the nicest of all animals, probably the worst!i mean that it is pretty mean and clever)
A vulture is dead sick. Eats anything and a shame that you were one of its foods.

Maybe there's something that's bothering you in your real life, maybe something that makes you feel like people are "on your back" about things.

Just a guess though. I know a tiny bit on dream interpretation since I look up my own dreams once in a while so I've gathered a few stuff here and there.

Baboons r similar 2 monkeys which makes them akinda holy entities. Vultures were worshipped by Aztecs. So, ur dream probably meant that ur probably unknowingly attacked/betrayed by higher authority or someone u trust.

i used to have the occasional large problem that seemed to want to overwhelm me and i would find myself asking my subconscious for a solution to my problem. then i would trek to a location where i'd escape any evidence of mankind; sight, and sound and just let my mind go for an hour ....or two......just daydreaming or reminiscing. and when the time was up it never felt like i had the answer or solution. only when i was directly confronted with the problem, there would come the solution out of my head or verbally from out of no-where.

give you any ideas?
