You betcha! It happened to us. And it was SEVERAL ultrasounds not just one! It was our son Kyle, he is our third child, all boys. We love him not matter what he has 'down below' but it was VERY hard to take back all the girl's things, repaint the room and everything. Some things weren't returnable, I obviously couldn't return the material to the fabric store after sewing the comforter, crib bumpers, curtains, etc.. I had already removed tags from many outfits. We sent those to the domestic abuse shelter for women and children.

I did actually dress him up in my favorite outfit, complete with headband and took a picture. He knows about it (he's now 12) and he doesn't mind me keeping it but I'm NOT allowed to show it to anyone. (It's in the bottom of my cedar chest)

I was lucky to have GREAT friends who threw me a second baby shower with boy things!

Our fourth child was also a boy evident at every ultrasound, but I had secretly hoped they might be wrong again, the other way this time! I love all my boys very much wouldn't trade them for ANYTHING, but we are hoping to adopt a girl someday soon. I had 2 heart attacks during the last pregnancy so we aren't able to have any more of our own.

I have two children, normally on the scan pictures if it has two lines it's a boy and if it has three it's a girl. seen this information on pictures while having a hospital checkup. I am pregnant with my third child and on my black and white scans there is two lines, i am having a boy which i found out for definite when i had a 3d scan. My Friend was told she was having a girl all along and had a boy!

yep, my mom still has the ultrasound pictures from me and my brother and we were supposed to be opposite of what we are. it happens. When I was pregnant with my girl and they showed me her lines I didn't believe them until she popped out!! I don't think you are sure until then. :)

Not me, but it happens. Gender prediction is not always accurate. I know a few people who surprised their parents.
