Double standard.?

Question

During VH1's award show many racial slurs were made including the use of the "n" word. Must of the time was spent downgrading Micheal Richards. However, the presenter was black. Those attending were quite but many laughed. I was disappointed that the double standard was applied once again.

Yes i know where your coming from man. I didnt see the show but I saw kanye west on the mtv europe awards, what an asshole. Black entertainers have a licence to be racist and mysogonist, and promote violence. I believe in equality for all, and if heavy metal records had of had lyrics about bitches and ho's nevermind shooting people they would have been banned years ago, no doubt. I must say though, the people who run the record companies and the music tv, radio etc are mostly white so they are the ones really promoting this negative black image, seriously. Even if you have players like suge knight, he doesnt run the radio and tv stations. Its a big racist conspiracy, like i said if there had been rock, metal "white" music like that it would have been banned years ago. Think about the images you see of black people in the media, pimps, drug dealers, gangsters, ho's, and its an element of black people, but it the only images the world sees. White society has the same anti social negative elements in it but we dont just see only that in the media. It would be like having the jerry springer show on tv all day. Get the point. Its not as if black people invented gangsters or guns or prostitution anyhow, but you would think they did, AND THAT IS THE IDEA. Im so sick of liberal whites they have no clue to how this society works so they just believe whatever Oprah or Dr Phil tells them. Negative music or images are not adding to society they just degrade everything and everyone. Kanye west was a middle class boy so was ice cube {parents were teachers}, so lets keep it real guys. I come from poverty and it aint OK to be an asshole or promote being an asshole ever.

In response to the comment below...I said if there had been rock, metal music like that it would have been banned years ago. Gangster rap was definatley the most explict, violent form of music and it was consistently like that . You will find rock rap records that have negative lyrics but notice the word rap. As far as suicide in lyrics who cares as long as they dont tell you to go shoot some homies with an AK47. How can you even compare. Typical comment from someone who wants to see the world as politically correct when it just isnt. And if there were some long haired greasy guys walking down the street at night, im sure you would be more afraid of them than a bunch of eminem clones. Sure you would.
