I cant find the details about his invention for time. There are big chains and balls with the mechanisms for all four directions on his four walls in his foyer at Monticello? Just wondering if anyone read his theories?

Thomas Jefferson was quite an inventor, But I don't know if he had any more to do with the clocks than to specify the exteriors. It shouldn't be surprising that inventors love gadgets, whether they are of their own creation or not.
