Firstly get the wiring thoroughly checked from a competent auto electrician, still if you feel that you want stronger light, U can go in for 90/100 watts lamp, but before you fit that you need to fit a head light relay to handle high current drawn by this new lamp (90/100). U may buy Lucas Headlight relay. U also get a Phillips 100/130 watts lamp for a stronger light.

Normally with use the reflectors become ineffctive, so yuo can change them however before that check the follwonh
1.u r using the correct lamp for Zen and these are MGP.
2. There lens are clean ( even from inside)
3, the lights are focus
4. there is not short circuit . it leads to loss of current then thus less intense beam

The older Zens came with 55~65W lamps. It is legally possible to change them to 110W, which will definitely be brighter, without even changing the reflectors. Changing the reflectors is another option as the surface would have become dull.

at first step check the battery life status of ur car coz ur car is 1998 mdl.
then check is there any loose collection in connecting wires,+remove the fung formation on battery clip.
check the status of reflector if u find any problem with it shinig coat thenreplace the reflector.
if u wont find any such problems from above mentioned part then replace the bulp of beamer. or replace the whole set of beamer.
but make sure that u replace every thing from showrooms only.

....... if you have ever changed the bulbs than you have wrong bulbs ...... or your battery is weak ...... or if your electric system has been touched by the road side mechanic ........ it is very important you go to maruti work shop ........ if answer to all this is no then change the lights .... get sealed beams and ask the maruti workshop to change them ........ they will know if they are giving full light or not and not just light ....... you will be surprised how a road side guy can change the character of your car so fast ...............

If there is no relay , get it installed. costs about 200-600.does not even requires wiring modification. Will definately help.

I think they are getting ready to burn out. Replace them before they go out completely.

Get xenon headlights. But before doing so, make sure your electrical system is OK.
