It seems to me, and I think the wife realises this too, that it's a simple equation and we can do one of two things: 1, row, and have all of the trauma to go with it, or 2, simply bring delight to each other.

Yes this is true, when your first married you fight about this and that but the longer you married you mellow down and you start to enjoy each other. you fix like your favourite pair of shoes. lol

I heard that if you put two betas in the same fish bowl, they would fight until death.
