Listening to music, reading poetry, writing, graphic arts, cooking, pottery, arts and crafts. Any thing that involved art and creativity is the way to go.

If you are the kind of person that likes to write down your thoughts keep a journal. You never know if something may come out of that.

Arts and crafts are good because you can make things especially around this time of year. People love to get gifts that are home made.

Cooking is another way to get creative because you can try something that you haven't tried making before and there fore it's more challeging to make and for your taste buds.

Visiting art galleries or even getting into painting yourself can be relaxing and enjoyable.

You just got to find the right thing that will motivate you to become more creative even if it's not something that will make you a huge star but will give you hours of enjoyment especially when you want to slip away from the social crowd.

You could take courses or do seaches online by researching the types of art that is out there. There are courses also offered online if you do a search you may come across a number of them.

If you can't afford some of the graphic programs out there then you can try something less costly like an inexpensive paint program. There are a number of them out there. Some may charge money and others you can find free online.

Also you can find free clip art, make your own web page, learn html, etc. The skys the limit as to what you can find.
