simin select all text and then where you see your font menu. Click on left hand side where it says normal, heading ect, choose normal from the menu and then choose fonts and size. this should work fine

Try using "Paste Special" and select "text".
This should help. If it does not then just copy/paste everything and then reformat it in the doc by "Select ALL" and then use mouse to change font, size, style, etc.
