well if you really want to meet this person then you should but takes some precautions. First of all, meet in a public place and do not go anywhere alone with this person until you have a well established relationship. secondly, always let someone know where you are at all times. Lastly, it is usually best to have the first meetings during the day. Also, be careful with drinks, you never know when they might slip you something so make sure not to take anything that was out of your sight at any point. It sad but there are a lot of crazy people out there.
