It's that time of the year again.
That time of the year has arrived where we look back and revise all the good and bad things a year carried for us.
No matter how good or bad things have been, we still celebrate at this time because we managed to make it through the year safely and lively.
We still have 22 days left though.
It's that time of the year where we start making resolutions for the up-coming year, working towards achieving the quality of life and comfortable standard of living.
Proud South Africans, what are your resolutions for the year 2007?

Poepies:
Getting a promotion? You go girl. That's positive.
Getting married? That's positive too, just make sure that you and your partner are both ready for it and the love you have for each other is genuine.
Good luck girl.

I look at your resolution as a sign maturity.
Short temper limits ones power to reason.
It doesn't allow a person to admit criticism.
In turn it doen't allow a person to learn from criticism.
Sometimes it makes it difficult for a person to say simple things like 'I'm sorry'.
Generally people don't want to associate with a short-tempered person, thus narrowing one's social exploration.
Good resolution. Thumbs Up!

More focus on your business and at the same time spend more time with your family???
Yeah, you are right it does sound like a contradiction, but all it takes is to make your family understand that while they need you, you still need enough time to run your business. Otherwise you won't afford to buy them all these latest cell-phones, ipods and X-box they want.

Ya man I wish I could give you a descent loan, but I need one myself. Otherwise you've got good ideas. Just to warn you: If you happen to fall for the idea of starting the business with another person, make sure that the Partnership Contract is set up, and must have carefully detailed terms and conditions. It must also cover all areas incl. breech of contract and the consequences involved. This will lessen the chances of your business partner wanting to cheat on your business.

Good one Vango. Live your life to the fullest while you can. Have you considered adding Tanzania to your have-been-there list? There's Kilimanjaro to climb there. Talking about home-soil, I'm jetting off to SA this coming Thursday (14/12/2006). Have a lovely Christmas and Happy New Year!

Helen Zille (mayor of Cape Town) had an interview about 2 weeks ago. I saw it on CNN. She said she grew up as a bad girl. One particular day she made a lifetime decision that she was changing her life for better. She did, and it worked. Look where she is today. She's one of the highly respected ladies in South Africa. My point is, you too can also make it happen if you're determined. You actually thought about it at a right age (I assume you are 15 or 16). Go for it and don't look back. South Africa needs future heros like you. You already have great potential, for now you can have great X-masand Happy New Year.

"...respect the diversity of our country"
I think that is an absolutely brilliant thing to say. I mean you managed to touch my heart. That is one of my biggest wishes too. Now, look at all your 2006 events as learning experiences, and use those experiences to foresee and manage any obstacles standing on your way to success, and you'll reach the stars. Wishing you a very successful 2007.

Have a good time in South Africa and I'll call you once I get there, ok?

I hope to say "Happy New Year!" to you in person, but Merry Christmas for now!

New Year, Hmmm...

You couldn't have asked at a better time. I'm at a point where I'm asking myself, what to do to with my life, which turn to take, what to venture into...

I can't even find a business to start without too much capital required. Thought of transporting construction material: customers want new trucks. Thought of buying and selling property: the very bank I work for won't even give me a decent homeloan.
What do I do? I am still saving up to accumulate money for a 'business' but what? Am also scared of starting with someone else, I've seen too many people being cheated. I have to make these decisions beofre the end of the year.

Must figure it out. I must.

To all you lovely South Africans... I love you!!!!!!! and
Merry Christmas

Have a blast!!!
Have a wonderful 2007 overflowing with blessings.

Well aimed question there, Diesel, and good feedback.
I hope to survive another year in Taiwan, but also make a trip to home-soil (the Cape). Also want to get rid of the last study debt, add 3 more countries to my have-been-there list, learn more Chinese, climb Mount Kinabalu in Borneo and learn to bake beskuit.
How bout you?

Thanks. Same to you. Enjoy the homecoming!
