It is not strictly regarded as plagarism because you have not copied a written work word for word. Although your ideas are in there, it is your brother's good English that contributed to it. Just put your brother's parts into your own words. Believe me you will feel better for it if it is your own work, especially if you pass or get a good mark. Next time, write your work yourself and ask your brother to edit it and tell you where you may be going wrong. Maybe your brother can help you more constructively if he gives you a few lessons on English, spelling and grammar. There are plenty of books out there that can help you with your grammar. Ask your lecturer's advice on this!!
If you are using a p.c....the spelling and grammar check is a useful tool.
It is so much better when it is all your own work!
Good luck!!! :o)

The question is declared to information approximately teenagers. the subject with this area is that yesterdays 'information' could no longer be 'actuality' right this moment. the styles of 'information' which you're conversing approximately i'm guessing would be statistical 'information' (% of youngsters who visit church, dye their hair, take heroin, have underage intercourse, play hockey, and so on). those outcomes could have been revealed from examine examine. for this reason, no longer basically will you may cite the website as a source yet additionally observe if there are components to show the place their 'information' are from - in spite of everything they could be from a learn executed interior the 1960's and could no longer be proper on your internet site - or they could be misinterpreted or misrepresented - or it must be one individual's opinion written as though it have been a actuality. the terrific case could be to ascertain out the unique components and quote them. If there are no longer any components - then do no longer quote the internet site as you will no longer have the means to declare for specific if the counsel is actuality - if the subject pursuits you and you elect to apply the counsel - attempt and hit upon a learn that has been executed already. Plagiarism it will be if it is from a published or printed material, and you copied it word per word, without mentioning your reference.
If it is by your brother, and it is composed by him, it's not from any published book or writing, then it's safe. But, if you have, at any part of the essay, a quote from a book, magazine, or whatever circulation, don't forget to put it as reference.
Good luck.

Plagiarism is really using someone else's thoughts and ideas and pretending that they are your own.
What your brother has done (by the sounds of it) is not plagiarism, but it is still cheating.
It would be much better if you wrote the essay and then asked him to have a look at your spelling and grammar.

I can see from your question why you needed help. It would not be Plagiarism, but still would be highly irregular. Re-write and use spell check. There is nothing to be gained in the long run from cheating. Your brother will not always be there to help you and then the truth will out...

Yes, this is plagarism. You have to write your own essays, you can have your brother edit your essay but you cannot submit it as is. What you should do is learn how to structure the essay yourself... look up study guides, ask your brother how he approaches writing essays. You cannot submit his work as yours - even if you paraphrase it.

Good artists borrow, great artists steal. You know you can download whole coursework essays off this internet thingy don't you? Then you won't have to "bother" your "brother" again in the future.

Yes, because the ideas are his and structure is his.
EVEN if you paraphrase it. You still have to cite him, otherwise it's plagarism, despite what "so called' professors are telling you on this site.
