Can anyone tell me the name of the film where a middle age couple get caught up in a nuclear war? Its an animated film and they usually show around christmas time.

When the Wind Blows is what you are looking for but I aint never seen this around christmas time - are you mixing it up with The Snowman as they are both by Raymond Briggs?

i don't remember ever seeing When the Wind Blows in the Christmas schedules!
Are you sure you aren't getting it mixed up with The Snowman (i think the same animators made both films, they have a similar 'look' about them)

yes ..When The Wind Blows ...the artist & writer was a keen CND supporter and was keen to put across the dangers of supporting nuclear weapons (like myself)

ha! that film so screwed me up when i saw it.. think i was 18, and i knew i was going to die,because of the nuclear bomb!
scarey film.. wish the politicians who run this country would watch it!!
