How to spend 2 days in Singapore?

Hi all, I'll be visiting Singapore in a couple of days' time. I only have 2 days so I'd like to know which places are worth going to or a must-see. I've also heard that Singapore is a food paradise, so it'll be good if anyone can offer me some recommendations of places with good food. Thanks!

Singapore has good food. But I don't remember where to go for food.

Anyway, places to visit... If you want, go to Sentosa, it's an island resort. It has Fort Siloso, a historical site. Also you can go to Tanjong Beach, Pulau Beach and Siloso Beach. While you're at Sentosa, you can visit Underwater World, Butterfly Park or Insect Kingdom.

Go to Orchard Road, a major shopping hub. Some malls on Orchard Road are Ngee Ann City, Wisma Atria, Lucky Plaza, Plaza Singapura, Shaw House and Centre and Centrepoint. Suntec City has the Fountain of Wealth.

Anyway, that should take up 2 days time.

If you are adventurous, you can try visiting the hawker centres in Singapore for the good and cheap food. Prices can start from S$2 for a bowl of noodles.

You can try going into the heartland to experience the true Singapore life. For a more modern feel, go to Tampines Round Market. It is especially lively on Sundays. You can even get free wireless Internet service there!

You can take the MRT to Tampines Station and take bus 292. However, you will probably take half an hr to reach there. If you want to, you can take a cab from Tampines Station. It is more expensive but you can reach the area in a shorter time.

If you want more touristy places, try Newton Food centre (Near Newton MRT) or Maxwell Food Centre.

try going to sentosa on the 1st day? and there's a newly openned shopping mall, VivoCity. just outside sentosa! it's currently the biggest mall in singapore, with 300+ shops (:
for food, u could drop by any hawker centre (newton circle prefably?) with all sorts of singapore goodies ☺

Die die must go : Esplanade, nice food, nice scenery, free exhibitions, near to shopping and near to our fabulous skyscrapers.
Orchard, great shopping and beautiful people.
At night, go to Boat Quay and Clarke Quay and drink till you drop! Since you know that Singapore is a food paradise, then let it be known to you that in Singapore, you can find good food at every turn and corner.

welcome to singapore, since you have 2 days, if you like shopping you can go to orchard road or Vivocity. For sightseeing go to the zoo or sentosa. Food you can go to Newton Circus or Chinatown there are too many places to name, hope you have fun in Singapore, cheers

definately sentosa for the enjoyment and food. food at mount fabour is great! go to orchid road they're having the annual light up and shopping! Vivo is a must go! its soo big and it new.

Since you only have 2 days, may be you can visit Sentosa for the 1st day at the same time experience their skydining.

you should go to sentosa..chill til night then go to laupa sat..if you want to go shopping then orchard is the place..you should try chilli crabs too..but don't eat it if you can't take spicy food cause it spicy alright..if you are looking for a bargain then go to bugis street..try the trishaw too..its something like a tricycle but much bigger..have a happy holiday!
