I remember reading something in the french press from an African man who was disappointed after the recent live aid concert because the organizers and stars ignored the corruption of African leaders who would take the money but will not distribute it properly.. I understood his point that people in the west see the picture but not the whole picture..that much of Africa's problems are not due to a greedy west but a west that does not want to get involved.Rwanda is a perfect example in recent history...
I am not saying to get involved militarily but stop paying lip service
and hold these leaders accountable..
At the same time change must come from with in..and surely there are many Africans who are more than able to lead its people and these are the people the world must support in the same way it supported Nelson Mandela..

If you are a Nigerian yourself, start working with full sincerity and honesty from today onwards.
If you are not, either stop worrying/criticizing others or settle there, work honestly for upkeep of society and make an example out of yourself. The individuals make the society and not the vic e versa.
It did not take Nigeria a day to get politically imbalanced. It will accordingly take more time to get back on the right track.
Stop criticizing and work hard.
