In my german class, we are making presentations on technology today; and I don't know what to do! I've decided on two things: Graphic tablett and GPS navigator.
The only glitch is that there is no history on GPS navigator at all! Could someone please tell me a bit about GPS navigators, or suggest some technologies I could make my presentation on?

Thanks!

A Global Positioning System is used to locate your current position and using a series of way points that you can plot it will give you the distance and direction to go. GPS's typically use 3 satellites in orbit to give you a location. Three satellites will give you a six digit grid coordinate, more satellites equals a bigger grid coordinate and more accuracy. Navigation systems today only require you to enter starting point and a destination then it will use a programed street map to give you directions to go. Kind of like using a moble mapquest.

this technology use sattelite waves, they are several sattelites that have web structure , and the users must have a device to navigate ,called "Gps receiver" , everywhere you are ,your device send and recieve packets to show your situation.
