Why invitation is needed? you can travel and if visa is needed you can get it too.

You will need to get a passport and visa to enter the country, do you want a working visa? tourist visa? there are many types of visa that you can get.
Do you know of any exchange programmes that Iran & Japan have? Maybe you could go to Japan through one of these?
