Tell me the sentence, then I might be able to figure it out. It is not a fomal word, so I suppose it's VERY slang.

A small, sweet love long usually sung by a solo artist without backing music. Basically a lullaby.

chanson is french for song, chansonette means little ditty/little song:-)
