Making things brighter
You can make things easier to see by using better lighting. You need to have as much light as you feel comfortable with for each task that you do.
It is often easier to see things if you shine a light directly onto what you want to see. For example, if you are reading, it may be easier to see if you use a lamp that can be adjusted to shine directly on the page you want to see.
Everyone is different and you need to find the amount of light that you are comfortable with. For more information on using better lighting, see the section on magnifiers.

There were no illnesses...even simple ones such as the common cold, flu, strep throat....that would mean no sick little ones, no money spent on medications, doctors (and we all know as parents how hard all of that is) not to mention the emotional wear and tear it is to have a sick child at home

Good question! read the IF by 'rudyard kipling'. If you meet all the ifs in that, life would definately be much easier. I think I got it 99.999% right, right!

We all went back to bartering, instead of having money. Everyone had their own piece of land, and they had to live off of it, grow their own crops, etc. Also if all mothers stayed home with their children, and raised them like they are supposed to, alot of kids definately would be raised up alot better and the crime rate would go way way down. Also make pornography illegal. I could go on and on trust me.

People forgave others... It is something so simple but it takes a lot to do. To remember that sometimes people can be easily lead and forget themselves. Also, people need to know how to say 'sorry'

You could buy those telephone pens... the ones that have a chain and heavy placement holder that the pen fits in to - for next to the house telephone.
You see them in banks but can't buy them in shops for love or money. Never a pen next to my phone - always disappear.
