they're easy pickings. who wouldn't mock people who believe god created the world and life in ONLY six days. And then they rationalize saying one day isn't REALLY 24 hours. Huh?
Well, Lark, if that rationalization makes you sleep peacefully at night, then keep telling yourself that. Whoever wrote Genesis wanted to illustrate that god wasn't man, but a supreme, incredibly powerful god who had the capacity to do anything, however great. creation in only six days illustrated that precisely. If god indeed created the universe in, i guess, millions of years, then it would lessen god's image, role, and strength. the author realized this potential and decided to adopt the six-day theory.

Despite your charged language, you deserve a straight answer. Christians have been using the political system to push their agenda, including the attempt to overturn Roe Vs. Wade. The political party that reaps the most benefit from the Christian vote is the Republican party. The "Libs in Air America" are politically opposed to the Republican party. This bashing of Christians that you speak of is more an opposition to the politics of Christians than an opposition to those who are religious.

The PC police will condemn any bashing of the other "religions" but they turn a blind eye to any trashing of the Christian belief systems. About the only "safe" topics to make fun of left in the US is Christians, red-necks and the Republicans. And the PC-leftist wonder why they are called immoral?!

Hey Shark boy- Since the beginning spoken of in the bible (Creation) was thousands of years before the first calender was made, before a day was deduced to be one revolution of Earth around the sun, how does anyone know what it referred to as a day. Not only does the Bible speak of a day to the lord is as a thousand years to man, even the earliest civilizations writings refer to people living hundreds of years. We have no way to compare time as we use it to how it was thought of thousands of our years ago.

They are libs.They can't understand that 85% of the country claims Christianity as their religion.They can't comprehend that with out an established left leaning media conglomerate pushing their message that no one would listen.When it is their view point alone that they are selling nobody buys.That is why they are broke.
