There could be a few different possibilities - you say the dog takes medicine for heartworms, to prevent or does she have heartworms that are being treated? Is there a possibility of an overdose on the medication? I have also seen problems such as Lyme's Disease cause weakness in the hind legs. This could also be as severe as a heart problem. The condition can only be diagnosed by a veterinarian. Best of luck to you both!

If slip disc is the true reason then it is corrected here in USA. So check around and get it done but still you will need Physical Therapy. Go for it.

Ur main problem is slip disc, u shud pay attention to that problem first. ur nerve is pressing and hence numbness in ur leg, this can detoriate, if u dont treat it immediately, can lead to paralysis tooo...never ever go in for operation. i suggest you to please try out YOGA which i think wud surely help u solve this problem. all the best.

I am going to hope and assume you have seen a doctor? Try physical therapy. My mom had disc issues for years, fusions, therapy etc. , it worked for her!

Try crossdressing and wear a flat shoe on one foot and a three inch stiletto on the other.
