I drive by these "Stepford Hills" housing developments all the time and frankly...i kinda get the creeps. There is one that even has the whole golf course, clubhouse thing along side it, perfect lawns the whole 9, like a scene right out of the movie....spooky!! Do these places seem "unnatural" to any of you?

I don't think your gettin the whole pic.....you never see actual children playing on the perfectly placed, never used toys even...now that's creepy!

Whitey..I have two diff. sets of family members who live in beautiful houses on a golf course..totally different feel.

You never see people there because they are either all at work to afford to live there or at the spa.
Yeah it creeps me out big time. I don't like communities where the property I would own is not mine to do with what I want. Like the woman who was sued by her HOA for putting up a holiday wreath in the shape of a peace symbol, too antiwar for her neighbors!

The land of the lemmings. My biggest fear is that I will die in a place like that. Never having amounted to anything, never having done anything that made a difference. That I lived my life in a house just like the house next door, went to work in a car much like the one across the street as well as next door, mowed my yard every saturday. Yep it scares the crap out of me.

Yeah, or while your staring into area, and it appears that evidently like your watching somebody and then they seem at you and then your eyes meet and then they in all likelihood theory you have been checking them out lol.
