Comprehension is a tough reading skill. I taught reading, but I am not a great reader myself. I have a lazy eye which makes following a straight line across a page difficult. I drag my finger like my first grade teacher told me not to do. I am "in tune" to my problems, but sadly many people would never admit THEY have a problem.
Some people have ONE idea in their head and they repeat it as often as they can. You are probably catching these people during a rant.
Then you have "unpaid comedians" like the one who didn't like Gilligan's Island.
When I get a good answer, I thumbs up it so when I have to pick a 10 point answer, I have a short cut through the crap.

you asked a good question. you gave a fair answer. nothing left for us to do. read it and pass on. or. read it and comment. i will not pass. my comment is that people do read the question and they sure understand it -- it is plain English and not in tech terms like the mambo jumbo of the computer explanation. no one wants to See stuff here so we try to keep it simple. as to your comments why people have at times the wrong answer -- i guess like all things in life it is a question of statistics. have you witnessed a day in any country's life where there in no new baby born! where there is no one dead. it is impossible. so these answers tend to go the rational way -- that is some are good answers, and some are not so good answers and a few times they are bad or very bad answers. we fall into the statistical game. hope it helps. and you will not worry about the bad apples.

I know that's right. Some people have no eye for detail and don't have good reading comprehension. They probably do better at talking. It's a personality thing. And some people don't care and want two points. So there's my two points. But I think I got the question. :)

I think it all depends on how people interpret the question! Or they just like to listen to their hot air!
It annoys me too, when you ask a question, and you get some stupid ramble instead of the answer.

It is the way they understand because there are double meaning questions, just to testing for, for real answers, for jokes, for time passing etc.
