I can't tell you exactly, but I can give you a clue. Sometimes it's not really about the person, but what that person represented to us. So something like you are wanting to choose love, or something real, or intimacy (whatever she meant to you) over old familiar things or something like that. Dreams are a lot of times symbolic, so you have to figure out what that girl represents and what those friends represented to you. Not a concrete answer, but hope it helps you.

There are a several different schools of thought when it comes to interpretation of dreams. The first, most accepted ideology I've heard, is that when you are asleep, your neurons are still firing and your brain is still trying to interpret the information, but there is no outside input, which is why nothing makes sense. It could have been that your brain was still firing in patterns that were familiar to you--hence you saw your boyfriend. Maybe you were still unsure about how to handle your relationship with him, so that's why there was no interaction between the two of you. The other explanation, a little simpler, and the one that works the best for me most of the time, is that dreams are your brain processing the ideas and emotion that you didn't or couldn't give enough time for during the day. So, you probably had put your boyfriend in the back of your mind, and had been trying to put him out of your mind. Again, the fact that there was no interaction between you is significant. That could be your way of expressing the grief over the loss of closeness between you. Unless you knew beforehand that the dad was sick, I don't think it was an indication that you were having anxiety over seeing the ex in the near future. But if you knew he was sick, then yeah, that's a good explanation. Now, some people think that dreams forecast or foretell something that's going to happen. I do believe in this, but I think that these kinds of dreams are few and far between. If this was that kind of dream, then it probably was a prophesy that the boyfriend would come back into your life, but since you were no longer an item, you wouldn't be able to reach out and comfort him the way you might have had you still been together. But it wouldn't matter because he wouldn't seek comfort from you anyway. And all of these proposals could be way off, and if they are, I just hope that some of the ideas help you find deeper meaning for yourself.

OK I'm no dream interpreter but I've done some psychology. The reason you are dreaming about her is because she is on your mind subconsciously. Dreams are a way of humans interrelating/relaying what they feel in the conscience. It is natural for you in this case as there could be something that triggered these thoughts. Some good memories from way back when you were dating could have triggered this and the fact that you loved her so much.

Personally, i don't think there is need to be worried for it is natural. You two have this strong bond between yourselves and i am sorry things did not work out for the both of you.

That is my interpretation!!!

First of all, do you currently have a girlfriend? If you do not, dreaming about this ex-gf could just mean that you miss what she was to you. From what you described, your perception of her is that she is one of the most beautiful girls you've ever met, and you are extremely attracted to her. I can only deduce that she must have been very nice to you as well, but without you telling anything more about your actual past, I don't know for sure.

If you do have a girlfriend at present, oooo... then maybe you love your ex-gf and think your ex-gf is much better?!
