Simply multiply the length by the width to give the square area of the rectangle. If using metres, the answer will be in square metres. The answer will be in square feet, if using feet, you can't use feet and metres in the same sum.

well the area will be 12 as it is 3*4 but the unit i am unsure of cus u cant have metres and feet at the same time its one or the other. Either metres squared or feet squared check ur question again to see which it shud be

3M feet makes no sense. Do you mean 3meters or 3 feet?
If meters,
1 ft = 30.48cm, so 1m = 100/30.48 ft = 3.28 ft
area in sq ft will be 3 x 3.28 x 4 x 3.28 = 129.1 sq ft.
