If we se the graph of dollar vs rupees, it is clear that the rupee is becoming strong.
I think the phenomenon is related to indian economy and sensex.

I want to know specific reasons.

It has nothing to do with the Indian economy. The U.S. dollar is declining against all currencies due to the huge structural deficit and national debt of the U.S. If the Chinese start to sell the trillion dollars they have in reserves, the dollar will decline even faster.

Why is it Indians (from India) are so into: "We are the best," "We are going to become the richest country in the world," "We have the best schools," "We are the most powerful country in Asia." pffttttt....common! give me a break! if you guys are so GREAT, stop trying to migrate to the U.S. And NO. The Rupee isn't getting stronger. As the Pen guy said, the dollar is declining compare to other currencies out there. Gosh! there's this Indian guy who was saying that India has the most powerful army in Asia. So, I guess China, N.Korea, Israel, and other Middle Eastern countries are little ants crawling on a dumbster compare to the almost non-existence Indian military force...???
