i need to know as much as possible about their return department. just assume i know absolutly nothing about walmart and how to return something, some crucial issues-
1) if i have a receipt, can i get cash $$$ back?
2) how does ID affect this whole issue?
3) if i bought the item with cash, is a signature nessecary or do they even use signatures?
4) if i return an item that isnt faulty, still unused but opened, does it go back on shelves for redistribution?
5) do you have to be 18?
6) whats the deal about "3 return limit"?
7) is there anything or any policy i havent asked about?
if so, please tell me.
my intentions wouldnt make sense if i tried to explain it, so please just help me with the matter and dont question my motives. its complicated.

1. You can get your money back if you have a receipt, but you have 90 days from the date of purchase.
2. You must have ID when returning an item.
3. You must sign the return slip.
4. If an item is not faulty and not used or opened it will go back on the shelf for redistribution.
5. You don't need to be 18 to return an item.
6. There is no "3 return limit."
7. Can't think of anything else you missed.

1. You can get back the amount you paid if there is a receipt.
2. You must present an ID.
3. Signature is not needed since payment was through cash.
4. Returned items are not redistributed but returned to maker.
5. You need not be 18 as long as you are the buyer.
6. No longer entertained if 3 returns were made.
7. Be kind to the Walmart employees so that they will help.

Nah, they won't check the serial number, just make sure to take the box, any cords, etc and your receipt. I would hurry and return it soon cause with electronics Walmart has a 15 day return policy (or at least mine does).

Umm... I don't know all that much about thier return policy, but I returned some stuff to wal-mart yesterday and they didn't give me a hard time at all. When I entered the store, an associate gave me a sticker to put on the item then directed me to go to customer service. When I got there, I told her I needed to return the items. She didn't ask me why or anything, I didn't sign anything, and she just crossed out the items on my reciept and gave me the money and reciept back. She didn't check my ID, but I think that's part because I bought the item in cash.
My item was opened, but the packaging undamaged and in the same condition.

Based on returns I've made,
1) yes, If the receipt shows cash or check, if it was credit then the card will be credited.
2) Can't remember ever being asked for ID
3) name, address, phone number and signature required.
4) dunno, depends on the item, opened video games are never accepted.
5) no
6) dunno, suspect too many returns could cause refusal.
7) The will ask if anything is wrong with it then inspect it to make sure everything is there.

They have it all on Camera. They know what they are missing, they know the serial numbers of both items, and they are expecting you to return one, because this has been done for many years.
Your best bet is to sell the 360 to a stranger. :)
