i found a video at youtube about rain and song hye kyo winning the best couple award..according to the one who post it, hye kyo thanked the full house crew including rain and han eun jung which she calls unni..what does it means???

"Unni" is a sub-group of Pushpaka Brahmin (Ambalavasi) caste, which comes under the Pancha-Dravida regional group of Brahmins. They use the surname Sharma as well as Unni. They belong to the Viswamitra Gotram.
They wear the sacred thread "Yajñopavītam" (Pūnūl) and adhere to the 'Gayatri mantra'. They follow makkattayam (patrilineal) heritage system.

"unni" means "older sister" in korean. In the korean culture, people call family members and close friends "older sister" or "older brother" in order to show respect.
The term "unni" can only be used by girls though.
There is another term that guys use to say "older sister."
