Its usually by either finding someone who's in the buisness and making a connection, or starting off in the lowest depths and getting "disovered" so to speak.
Various websites are always looking for "actresses" so theres always that...
But be warned,. you will likly start out at the "bottom" and have to work your way up,... and the buisness isn't as glorious as many make it out to be...
Really think about this one before you commit to anything,... remember the ramifications this can have years from now...

i agree with the other answers, landing an acting gig especially porn is difficult if you dont have the necessary contacts. u'll have to work your way from the bottom (literally) and hope ur good enough to get a good role
its even harder to "get discovered" as this includes lying on your back.
try this:
walk around naked outside a porn studio and hope someone appreciates your goods and takes you in
OR
shoot your own movies with pals, partners and try selling them on the street or online and hope ur mama dont get to know this.

I would say the same as Jess. Think about 25 or 30 years from now though. I know a gal that had been in Playboy in the mid 70's, and now would do absolutely anything to go back and not do it.
