Can I fix the lock on my booth myself?

The lock of my booth is spoilt, in fact, I bought the car this way. The booth is being held together by tying with a strong rope. On the face of it, the lock looks ok, in fact i do not understand why it is not locking. Do you think it is something i could fix for myself? Could someone please point me to some things i can look out for?

better have a locksmith look at it or take it to the service center- that lock definitely has some missing parts.
