You can't take risks when you're pregnant. Go see the doctor and discuss this with him/her. They usually perform a swab test and see if you have an infection or an imbalance in your discharge. They can prescribe you medication that can alleviate the itch which will be safe for you baby.

The microorganisms normally found in the vagina can change during pregnancy because of the change in the chemistry of the area due to hormones. If you're a bit itchy, it could be a bit of yeast; try eating yogurt with live bacterial cultures. It's safe for your baby, and nutritious as well!

i am at 28 weeks, with the same issue. i think it is pretty normal. things are constantly changing down there, so it is no surprise you might be a little itchy. if it is persistant or it gets any worse, definitely tell your doc. as of now, i am sure you are fine.
also, if you are having sex, it is probably not nearly as often as it used to be, which can leave your skin feeling a little irritated for a while afterwards.
if it bothers you but isnt bad, ask your OB if an over the counter anti-itch creme is okay to use. i occasionally use i believe summers eve anti-itch gel, and it works great.

I wouldn't use an antiseptic. That would kill even the good bacteria and give the yeast a chance to get out of control (good bacteria and yeast keep each other in check). I am no doctor but maybe that is causing the itch in the first place.

Itching can be caused by insect bites like mosquito bites, heat rashes or allergic reactions.Aloe vera gel , apple cider vinegar or vitamin E oil can be effectively used on the affected skin.

If you've already seen your GYN & was tested for STD's. we can rule that out unless u re-contracted something.
Or it could be Yeast infection or vaginitous. Go to the doc asap. please i wish you the best, healthy, happy baby. Good Luck.

You could have a slight yeast infection. Why not mention it to your doctor?
