That is why Hillary made a public health campaign out of demonizing tobacco use even though it costs the public 1/10 th of what alcohol does. Umm...because we have institutions that tell people what is actually bad for them. Let me put it this way. Let's say you are in Pakistan where smoking tobacco is not a big deal. Why? Because big companies can pay the government under the table, and there is squat that a little man who gets cancer from false advertising can do. Generally, there is little to no warnings given during the advertising of tobacco products in those countries. Why? Because nobody freaking cares about what happens to your health. In America, we have protections for such things. THe little guy has, however small, voice. He can freakin sue the cigerette company if they did not tell him that tobacco can cause cancer. Consequently, all the government officials want to come out as saying that they want to make Americans' lives better -- what better way than to discourage tobacco...that causes cancer.r
