to the french teachers?

What credential do i need to teach french in california? how can i get it? which university should i contact?
for those who don't know me yet i am french, 25 and still want to move to LA and learn about your country. i need money for that and i love teaching. i have a degree in english from france but no teaching diploma. how can become a teacher there??? thanks fpr your help.

You need to contact the California department of education: http://www.cde.ca.gov/

They can guide you and let you know if there is a great need for French teachers there. If so then they may be able to employ you while you obtain your certification. They can tell you how to go about this.

If your degree is only in English and not in French then you probably will not be able to teach French. You must have a degree in the field that you wish to teach (at least in most cases).
