Yes. It scares me to think about it. Sometimes when I think about it I feel a small panic attack about to happen and so I have to quickly think of something else. You see, if there is something I don't know in life, I can always ask someone and get an answer. However, death is the one thing that I can't get an answer to. I can't get my head around not waking up one day . . . ever. If I knew that there was a heaven, or that I would be a spirit and walk around in some other world with other spirits than maybe I wouldn't be afraid. I think everyone is afraid of the unknown to some degree.

I am afraid of only an accidental or traumatic death experience and not of the 'death' itself, if that counts. It's only to an extent where I won't do a rash thing where I will hurt myself or die accidentally but not to an extent where I won't help a dying person or waste my last hour on the deathbed, being afraid of leaving the world. I think 'thanatophobia' is the word for fear of death and dying.

yes there are people who are afraid of dying. Necrophobia by the way. While I'm not afraid of dying, I certainly wouldn't want to be around for 39761349 years. At least not in the same body, as I'm sure this current one will wear out in 60-70 years.

I'm not afraid of being dead. I do prefer, however, that the process not hurt very much and not happen for a really long time.

At the same time, I've instructed my kids that I want to be kept on life support for as long as possible no matter how much it costs. People need not worry about my quality of life. I just want to hang on as long as possible :)

There is nothing to fear but fear itself. I think everyone has thought about death. It's part of the circle of life. BUT....know this, to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. BELIEVE in JESUS CHRIST and be saved (born again). He will take away your fear of dying. God bless you.

I am more afraid of how I die. Will it be really painful? Will I have to suffer? So, I'm not afraid of actually dying, I'm afraid of what happens just before I die.

I dyed some t-shirts once. Ruined them all. I wanted to die, but then I thought, "well, I'll just roll a die and see if my number comes up." it didn't and I was relieved, because I was really scared that it would.
