The fact is that urban areas vote for Democrats. One way to look at the parties is that producers vote for Republicans and consumers vote for Democrats. Once the vote swings too far to the consumer side, the
producers are doomed.

It can also be described as tax payers and government benefit users (i.e. welfare)

And you think that the oil and drug industries have only republicans and no democrats on their payroll? Get real!! They have bought as many democrats as republicans.

dick cheney is VICE PRESIDENT and he used to be huge in the oil business; and lobbying is a big hit with them (oil and drug companies, and the republicans) so i think my answer would be yes
