Do you find that you're too intense?

yeah, guilty! I have a very quiet side at home, but socially, I make too much noise. I just feel what I feel... fully. I don't mean to or even realize I'm doing it, I can be alot of fun when I'm happy! But...probably too intense for most. Just "too-much"

I feel the same way. Some times I think people take everything I say to be my one and only thought. I may come off strong sometimes but that's not all there is to me. Maybe that's an opportunity for me to rethink the way I've viewed people in my life. Maybe my preconceptions have been wrong, I assumed they were the sum of my first impression. But maybe they are something completely different. Do you think that was too intense? I hope not. You know what book you should read, I Know This Much is True, by Wally Lamb. Now that's intense.

if someone messes with a family member or friend i can be very intense but life in generally i am an easy going person..

yes, both ways.
I sometimes have that in your face attitude and I also speak with thought when needed. It scares people as usually the two are not of the same character.

Yes I know I do and I don't know what to change to fix the problems. I don't know I'm doing it. Just happens. I think I joke around in a odd way or something..

Before I opened your question, your additional details were my thoughts exactly.

I think my level of intensity is okay (perhaps a bit above average)--but I'm sure others will argue that. However, it only effects tasks and my playful side is just as 'extreme'.

it's a shame when a trait like that scares people off. personally, i love it..i think its a sign of a strong character.
