To find two points on the given line, all you have to do is solve for the x intercept and y intercept.

To solve for the x-intercept, make y = 0.

5x + 2y = 2
5x + 2(0) = 2
5x = 2
x = 2/5

To solve for the y-intercept, make x = 0

5x + 2y = 2
5(0) + 2y = 2
0 + 2y = 2
2y = 2
y = 1

Therefore, your two points are (0,1) and (2/5, 0)

Now, plot those two points on the graph and connect them with a line.

Slope is calculated with the help of taking the version interior the y-coordinates and dividing with the help of the version interior the x-coordinates, making particular to apply the factors interior the comparable order for numerator and denominator. Slope right here is (6 - 5) / (4 - (-2)) = a million/6

solve in terms of y

2y=-5x + 2
y=-5/2x+1

calculate two points for x = 0, then y = 1
and for x = -2/5, then y = 2

slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
= (2-1)/(-2/5-0) = 1/(-2/5)
or -5/2
which happens to be the coefficient above in the y-intercept equation above.
