I don't consider it to be tainted if you have had harsh things happen to you!
I've been through a-lot and have overcome it all. I don't regret any of it..it has made me who I am today..I think it's a good thing.If your sheltered you never get life experiences that personally I think help you to grow and become a stronger person..
So if you consider that tainted than I guess I am!!

I'm glad for you. There's too many ppl around that could tell you horror stories of things that have happened in their lives.
For myself? Yes, I'm jaded. As a matter of fact, it's actually my true nickname. Ain't that a shame?...lol
But I still love life.

If you mean in the pretentiously calloused sense, I am anything but pretentious. Calloused? Maybe about some things.
