I hear it's a bad thing. A priaprism or something.
But when I was married I often had an erection for that long or longer. It never bothered me, and my wife seemed to enjoy it.
Normally when we weren't in a position to do anything about it, I either didn't have one or it would come and then go away.
I just covered it up as well as I could in public. (High school had been good training for this).
I am still fairly easily excited and I still have erections that can last for an hour or so, but I have gained better control of myself as I got older, and now have the mental ability to control them better and make them go away fairly quickly if needed.

I still didn't experienced it, but i have already experienced erection for more than an hour. I'm drinking 2 capsule vitamin E and plenty of water 30 minutes before having sex.

Thats a condition called priapism, and if the condition continues beyond 4 hours it is advisable to seek medical attention to prevent permenant damage (and severe pain from what I'm told)

No, but I can gather some pretty interesting facts about it.
It is actually dangerous. You can have a blood clot in the blood retained by the penis, which of course could lead to a heart attack or stroke. Or it could just damage your penis, furthering erectile dysfunction. But even more, it could lead to gangrene which would necessitate the removal of the penis.
