I have tried everything from shoe deodorisers to sunshine. The shoes do not feel sticky to wear but I suspect it's the glue that is giving the awful smell. And no...I do not have any foot problems. It's only with my Sketchers that I am having this problem.

Rap a few pieces of charcoal in a old but clean sock and stick it in the shoe for a day or two.

Hi washing the sneakers in the machine should do the trick on them but make sure they get REALLY DRY. The boots can't do the wash thing you can try fabreeze also the suggestion for socks full of baking soda a nice idea, I wouldn't put a bunch of baby powder in there you'll just wind up with a toe jam factory refuel from that. You can also try getting some charcoal put that in a small brown bag or some socks and put that down in for a few days charcoal is a natural dessicant (draws moisture into itself and it will draw smells away into itself) now were not talking about the briquets you use in the grill it needs to be real charcoal. (see first link) Also try finding him a set of boot dryers, see second link below and more.

Very simple, just bake the shoes in an oven at about 500 degrees for about nine hours. The remaining solids and powders will be odor free. Do not inhale the fumes, since they are likely to be quite toxic. Best to leave the house for a day or two. Make sure your automatic sprinkler system is working properly.

the odor is due to constant sweat..... i suggest changing socks more frequently and not to wear the same shoes all the time. if you keep using the same ones eventually all the sweat will build up and the shoes will be smelly in no time.. also use baby powder it helps out alot. when you are going to go to bed just put some baby powder on your shoes and when you wake up just put em on and there should be no bad smell :)

Maybe the real question should be how to get rid of the odor of your feet! If your feet don't stink, neither do your shoes.
