I have a dell laptop. The touch pad mouse keeps moving on its own. I tried using a regular mouse with it and it did the same thing. Once it starts moving there is no way I can get it back under control. I even have to use the mouse pad keys to turn it off.The only thing that seems to help is turning it on and off until it works again. Or hitting it until it stops.

I had the same problem with the mouse of my PC, I got a new mouse and the problem was gone.
Try deleting or reinstalling the driver otherwise time to get the hardware fixed.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
